Set against the BŌKEN AW26 campaign, this short film turns its gaze to what happens behind the camera — with special attention to Milagros Schmoll as she poses for several hours in the stillness of a NET studio. As the team strives to capture the perfect image — the precise meeting of light, texture and gesture — multiple situations and quiet tensions unfold. Yet the short film also raises an important question: What happens to the model while she inhabits that silence, holding presence before strangers, posing tirelessly as leather and fur reveal their strength around her? "Backstage" offers an intimate and thoughtful look at the world of BŌKEN, exploring not only the creative process behind a campaign built from restraint and matter, but also the experiences and emotions of those who give it form — where the gesture is minimal, yet everything is felt.
